Citadel Arcane Monstrosities - The Dwarf Juggernaut

Must be one of my all time favourite miniature pieces. Tony Ackland sculpted the beast and I believe Michael and/or Alan Perry the crew. I had a painted version up in the Manchester Games Workshop when I worked there in the early, early 80s......it disappeared a few years later to pastures unknown...one day I will find it again as it was never given to the shop, merely lent for display purposes. Grrrrrrr. I did have a spare crew at one point but the evil Orclord (Richard Hale of Stuff of Legends) took them off me on one of his visits many years back as he had the machine but not the crew. I scanned the insert for Kevan, otherwise known as Boki Gromdal over at Stunties so thought it would be nice to share......

Apologies for the lack of, and length of, recent posts however personal issues are dragging me away from things at the moment.....hopefully onwards and upwards in the new year.....

Pirates of the Caribbean - 1976 Der Kriegspielers style............

Picked these little babies up the other day and had them sent over from the States. Der Kreigspielers and Custom Cast, who were later to become amalgamated with Heritage Models Inc., released these in 1976, sculpted by Steve Bissett who was in High School at the time (similar to the Perry twins who started sculpting for Citadel whilst they were still in school.....). A little basic but these are classic old school sculpts that form part of the history of our hobby....

Still after examples of the rest if you have any spare................
